At a gala held by AmCham Shanghai, National Committee on U.S.-China Relations President Stephen Orlins received the U.S.-China Friendship award for his lifelong commitment to improving cooperation and understanding between the United States and China. The award was presented by U.S. Ambassador to China Nicholas Burns. In his acceptance speech, President Orlins spoke about the obligation that he and others have to improve bilateral ties and speak out against policies that undermine solid U.S.-China relations.
