The National Committee is pleased to count Mastercard among its lead supporters with its gift of $500,000 to the Now More Than Ever 50th Anniversary Campaign. Mastercard’s commitment to the National Committee mirrors the investments it has made in China over the past three decades by underwriting innovative and effective programming, such as the Leaders Speak series, Economic Track II Dialogue, and Diplomat Orientation Program.
A recent addition to the National Committee’s board of directors, Ajay Banga leads Mastercard as president and CEO. He is a frequent speaker in prominent forums on China, including the China Development Forum. Under Banga’s leadership, Mastercard has helped grow the Chinese banking industry through cross-border transactions processing, innovation, digital payments, safety and security, and strategic consulting services.
