Communications and Productions Associate
Lauren Peng is an Event Communications Associate at the National Committee, where she works with the communications and programming teams on the creation of digital content, educational materials, resource pages, and various initiatives.
Prior to joining the National Committee, Lauren interned as an Outreach Coordinator at the U.S.-China Heartland Association, focusing on subnational and people-to-people exchanges. She also serves as the producer for Zhengfawei, a talk show on Chinese law & politics.
Lauren graduated from the University of Michigan’s Ford School of Public Policy in 2023, concentrating on U.S.-China relations and Chinese politics. During her studies, she conducted research for the U.S. State Department and participated in diplomacy-focused strategic crisis negotiation simulations. In her free time, she enjoys solving crosswords and word games, sewing, and longboarding.
